SHOW: The Belles of Whitechapel: The Victims of Jack the Ripper Speak by WJR Miller

SYNOPSIS: Everyone has heard the name Jack the Ripper. But how many, other than True Crime enthusiasts who’ve studied the case, can name even one of the Ripper’s victims? THE BELLES OF WHITECHAPEL: THE VICTIMS OF JACK THE RIPPER SPEAK gives these women back their voices, shows through a series of monologues that each was a unique individual with thoughts, feelings, and her own story. Far more than just numbers on the hit list of history’s most infamous serial killer, they were real people, united in death by the hand of their murderer. The audience will learn all the salient facts concerning the Ripper case, yes, but more importantly will come to know the women whose lives were tragically cut short and who have largely been forgotten—until now.
